Halstron
Halstron is a Radical Inquisitor of the Ordo Malleus and noted Xanthite.[1d][Note 1]
Biography
During the Third War for Armageddon, Halstron assisted the Space Marines of the Relictors Chapter in their hunt for a shard of an axe used by the Daemon Primarch Angron in the course of his earlier invasion of Armageddon. Scouring the Equatorial Jungles of Armageddon for a Chaos monument known as Angron's Monolith, the Inquisitor and the Space Marines were successful in recovering the shard despite coming under attack by Feral Orks.[1c][1d][1e]
Halstron is amongst those Inquisitors to make use of a Daemonhost to further his aims.[1b][1c]

Notes
- Note 1: At one point in Angron's Monolith[1a], Halstron is referred to by Nico Tarryn as a "witch hunter", which is an appellation normally applied to members of the Ordo Hereticus rather than the Ordo Malleus. However, it is possible that Tarryn is either simply not being specific about Halstron's Ordo, or that he was told Halstron was a witch hunter by his superiors, who were concealing the chapter's true purpose on Armageddon from most of the Marines beneath them.[1b][1c]
