Equatorial Jungle
The Equatorial Jungle is a region of the planet Armageddon, consisting of a large jungle on the main landmass that separates the continents of Armageddon Prime to the west and Armageddon Secundus to the east.[1c][2]
First War for Armageddon
A Chaos monument known as Angron's Monolith was erected in the southern reaches of the Jungle.[5d]
Second War for Armageddon
In the aftermath of the Second War for Armageddon, the Equatorial Jungle became infested with Feral Orks. This still persisted by the time of the Third War for Armageddon, despite repeated attempts to exterminate them.[1a][1b][3]
Third War for Armageddon
When the orks returned to Armageddon, they rampaged throughout the jungle.[3]
In the midst of the fighting, the Space Marines of the Relictors Chapter chose to ignore requests for their assistance elsewhere on Armageddon and deployed all of their forces in the Equatorial Jungle.[5a] Assisted by Inquisitor Halstron, the Relictors were seeking Angron's Monolith, looking to retrieve a fragment of an axe wielded by Angron himself during the First War for Armageddon.[5b][5c][5d] After obtaining what they came for, the Relictors departed Armageddon entirely.[5e]
Results[4]
The orks made serious gains in this warzone.[4]
