Verity is a Dead World of the Imperium and the second planet of the Armageddon System.[1]

Overview

Verity is composed of low-density silicate material, resulting in the planet having much weaker gravity than its size would otherwise suggest. This also means that the planet is unstable; it is believed that Verity will break apart at some point in the far future (although due to the ongoing space battles surrounding the Third War for Armageddon, some feel that this fracturing may occur sooner than predicted).[1]

The planet possesses a thin atmosphere containing nitric acid and various other N/O compounds that are corrosive and poisonous. The particles suspended in Verity's upper atmosphere create an orange halo effect when light from the system's star passes through it - this effect is visible from Armageddon twice per year.[1]

Due to its proximity to the Armageddon Star, its instability and its atmospheric composition, Verity is considered uninhabitable.[1]

Moons

Verity has a single moon, called Tymbryl.[1]
