Warp Palace of Tzeentch
![]() |
The Warp Palace of Tzeentch is a huge hovering daemon engine, resembling but easily dwarfing the more common Silver Tower of Tzeentch.[1a]
Description
The Warp Palace of Tzeentch resembles a huge baroque fortress mounted on a giant hovering disc with the essence of a Lord of Change at its core. Its turrets and crenellations spark with warp energy, suffusing the air it around with magical energy. On the battlefield it draws upon raw power beyond other daemon engines. Sometimes the Warp Engine will remain motionless, simply shooting at ground targets, other times it will teleport through the warp from one end of the battlefield to the other, creating sonic booms and a cascade of lightning bolts in its wake.[1a]
The Warp Palace is constructed in a manner beyond even the most learned of Mechanicus tech-priests. It is filled with powerful psykers and chanting neophytes who create a focal point for warp energy. This energy is channelled by Tzeentch Techno-Magi to support the Warp Palace's infrastructure as well as to propel and to teleport the giant structure. Finally, the warp energy energises psychic attacks.[1a]
Armament
The Warp Palace has a variety of psychic attack with a 360 degree fire arc.[1b]
- Psychic Shield — Temporarily protects an allied unit.[1b]
- Fortune of Tzeentch — Temporarily protects an allied unit.[1b]
- Blue Fire of Tzeentch — Shoots a bolt of blue psychic energy.[1b]
- Pink Fire of Tzeentch — Shoots a bolt of pink psychic energy.[1b]
- Tzeentch's Firestorm — Produces a maelstrom of fiery warp energy. Every unit killed by the firestorm has a chance to spawn a pink horror.[1b]
Furthermore, the Warp Palace is armed with a cannon and bolters.[1b]
