8th Company (World Eaters)
The 8th Company, also known as the 8th Assault Company, of the World Eaters Legion was active during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy. The company was famous for being led by Captain Khârn.[1][2]

Possible canon conflict
According to Angron: The Red Angel (Novel), Captain Stover led the 8th Company by the time of the Shadow Crusade. This is contradicted by every other source. However, Stover is identified as 8th Company Captain by Graucis Telomane who admits that most knowledge on the period was lost to the Imperium; accordingly, the association of Stover with the 8th Company might be a case of in-universe misidentification.[7]
