Borax is an Imperial world, that was invaded by the forces of Abaddon the Despoiler, as the War of Beasts raged.[1]
History
The invaders then began to commit vile torture and bloody sacrifices upon Borax's population. However Sunderance of Borax, as it came to be known, was ended when a Salamanders strike force arrived and saved the world. As the war there was concluding, though, the strike force's warship Pyrelight, received a plea for aid from the Castellans of the Rift. They asked their fellows Chapters to help them to defend the Nachmund Gauntlet, as they could no longer due so alone. As the Despoiler's forces were among those threatening the Gauntlet, the Salamanders strike force agreed to do so. They vowed to fight Abaddon's forces until their dying breath, to prevent the Borax atrocities from happening again.[1]
Notes
It's unknown if Borax and Borax IV, a planet with corrosive chlorine deserts on which Imperial Titans fought[2], are the same place.
