Bork'hal was a Shas'ui in the T'au Empire, who commanded a Crisis Battlesuit Team.[1b]

History

In late M41, his Team was part of Commander Braun'wa's forces[1b] that were by the T'au Empire to "condition" one of the Vespid's leadership class strains, while it was in a pupa state. However before the Commander reached its isolated Hive, the pupa was attacked[1a] by the Shadow Hawks Chapter[1c] as it was being escorted outside[1a] by the Mal'aav and Mal'bas,[1c] Royal Bodyguard Stingwings[1b]. Led by Captain Urotriorchis,[1c] the Space Marines had been charged by the Ordo Xenos with capturing the Vespid leadership pupa, so that the Ordo could study and experiment on it. Thanks to Imperial intelligence,[1a] the Shadow Hawks were aware that Braun'wa was on his way to the Hive and they attempted to complete their mission before the arrival of the Commander.[1c] However Braun'wa and his forces of two Crisis Battlesuit Teams, led by Bork'hal and Shas'ui Aye'hal,[1b] reached the Hive before the Space Marines were able to take the pupa from the Royal Stingwings.[1c] Time was now of the essence for both sides, as Braun'wa had to stop the Shadow Hawks before they could escape with the pupa, while the Space Marines had to complete their mission before the T'au Empire could send a larger force against them.[1d]

Unfortunately for the Commander, his strike force entered the battle in a piecemeal fashion, instead of as a united front. Braun'wa and Team Bork'hal were the first to arrive and they placed themselves between the Shadow Hawks and the remnants of the Royal Stingwings, guarding the pupa. They were both quickly killed by the Shadow Hawks, though, with Bork'hal's suits being completely destroyed by Tactical Squad Accipiter's firepower.[1c] While most of Braun'wa's remaining forces later died as well,[1c][1d] their intervention kept the Shadow Hawks at bay long enough, that the Space Marines had no choice but to retreat without the pupa.[1d]

Trivia

Braun'wa and his forces were created by the Games Workshop employee Marc Raley. They were featured on an older version of Games Workshop's website.[1b]
