Eryx is one of the six Adeptus Mechanicus Knight Worlds in the Khaldun Sector, that serve the Forge World Tolkhan.[1]
History
The other Knight Worlds are Agarost, Avalath, Calmarin, Talmanos and Zarel which along with Eryx, surround Tolkhan's relative position within the Khaldun Sector. They were all also invaded by the Asuryani Craftworld Riellen, during the War for the Khaldun Sector. After eight years and constant Imperial reinforcements, four Systems were reclaimed from the Craftworld. Once this was done, Eryx was among the next worlds the Imperium sought to free. Tolkhan's Legio Pallidus Mor took part in the battle to do so, along with the Adeptus Mechanicus and Knight forces, that fought beside them.[1]
The Emperor Titan Praes Vindicta was one of the Titans sent to Eryx, but as it neared the world, Vindicta's Pegasus Transport Arca Novem was shot down by Riellen's forces.[1] The transport crash landed on Eryx, and though the Farseer Tilwen attempted to destroy it, the Novem was later saved by other Imperial forces fighting on the world. The Vindicta would need to undergo six months of repair work, however, due to the damage it suffered from the crash landing.[1]

Eryx was created by Pierre Dahl and it appeared in Firepower Issue 3.[1]
