Synopsis
Necronomer Esca has lived a long life of service to his order, recording the fallen warriors of the Imperium and their ascribed deeds. One place of remembrance above all others that holds an interest for Esca is the Necropolis of Rynn's World, the resting place of the Crimson Fists. Finally achieving his goal of visiting the graves of the fallen Rynnite heroes, his recordings are interrupted by the arrival of a squad of living Crimson Fists Astartes, come to pay their respects to their fallen brother, Athren of Fifth Company.
