Colonel Gueptera Assis Sholana was an officer of the Paragonian Regiments active in early M41.[1b]
Biography
Sholana was a veteran Guard commander and, although not Paragonian himself, he was assigned command of the 42nd Paragonian Armoured regiment following the Dentares campaign.[1a][1c]
He led the regiment when it was deployed in the war against the orks on Kalidar IV. After the disastrous action on the Kostoval Flats that resulted in the destruction of three entire companies, he attempted to tender his resignation to General Ban Lo Kism Verkerigen but the General refused to accept it.[1b]
