Meseda Quintus is an Imperial Rad World.[1]
History
It was once one of the Imperium's outlying Colony Worlds, until Quintus' population rebelled and sought independence. Heresy soon took hold, though, and the Heretic Khorne warlord known as the Iconoclast, later arrived and began recruiting the world's population for her army. However she had long been tracked by the Imperium's Vestal Task Forces, composed of the Adepta Sororitas' Order of Our Martyred Lady and the Adeptus Mechanicus' Array of the Sixth House, which was led by the Eloheim Miriya. Seeking to end the Iconoclast's reign of terror, the Vestal's forces invaded the world and killed the Iconoclast and destroyed her army. They then successfully conducted city-killing pogroms in order to restore order on Meseda Quintus. The battle devastated the world, though, and left it a radioactive wasteland.[1]
