Tallin

Adeptus Mechanicus Portal

Tallin was an acolyte of the Adeptus Mechanicus.^{[Note 1]} Formerly a tech-guard, he was eventually inducted into the lower ranks of the priesthood.^[1]

History

At one point in his service with the tech-guard, Tallin fought in support of the Imperial Guard against the Tyranids on Ichar IV. While there, he had the privilege of witnessing a Vermis-class Bio-Titan be killed by a single Vortex Missile, fired by an Imperator Titan.^[1]

Tallin was selected by Sasia Koraloth to aid her in her research into a Great Crusade-era weapon known as the Soulspear. When Koraloth eventually bypassed its gene-locks and attempted to test-fire the device, the resulting explosion destroyed her laboratory and killed fellow acolytes Vaien and Gelentian. Tallin, however, was able to save himself when he instinctively ducked.^[1]
