Overview
The world has many wrecked Imperial battleships, knights, and other remnants of Imperial wargear, such as Leman Russ Battle tanks and motorized vehicles. Wrecked voidship and ruined mega-structures are seen littering its desert landscape.[2]
Beneath the surface of the world lies a great cathedral dedicated to Tzeentch, at the heart of which lies its idol, a monolithic statue of a Lord of Change. The entrance of which lies within a deep crevice in the surface and an even deeper pit within that. The veil between the Warp and reality in thin here due to the powerful sorceress and a great idol to Tzeentch at the heart of the subsurface cathedral. Some Tzeentchian Warp influence has leaked intp reality, including an accumulation of texts from the Lord of Fate's Library of Lies – where all lies in the galaxy are recorded. These warp-touched parchments covered in Dark Tongue runes accumulate in this ravine-entrance. This closeness to the Warp also disrupts nearby targeters and comms.[1]
Sometime in M42, the Ultramarines Chapter sought to destroy the cultist presence. They would deploy a mission to destroy the idol and the cult's powerful sorcereress leader. This squad deployed was led by the Bladeguard Veteran Sergeant Metaurus. The squadron also included the Primaris Lieutenant Demetrian Titus and the Bladeguard Veterans Icaron and Levantus, who all fought through numerous Tzeentch Cultists and Tzaangors to reach the idol.[2]
However, they were attacked by the heavily mutated High Priestess of the Tzeentchian cult. A highly gifted Sorcereress of Tzeentch, she had been resting within the orb of the statue’s staff before the Space Marines arrived. Before the Ultramarines could destroy the statue, the sorceress's time-altering and mind-warping magic had killed both of the Bladeguard Veterans, while Metaurus was left seriously wounded. Titus was eventually able to resist the magic and kill the Sorcerer, completing their mission.[1]
Once the idol and sorceress are destroyed, the disruptive power of the Warp is weakened, allowing the vox and other systems to reconnect to the Space Marine warship in orbit and target the shrine’s location with an orbital strike.[1]
Notes
The world's name is fully capitalized in the Secret Level episode, so its not known if the name is Zsah'Uj or Zsah'uj.[2] In the Warhammer-Community post it is spelled Zsah’Uj.[1]
