5th Roane Deepers

The 5th Roane Deepers was a Roane Deepers regiment of the Astra Militarum known to have fought in the Sabbat Worlds Crusade.[1]
History
The regiment was part of a Sabbat Crusade battlegroup that was mustering for the assault on the Cabal System following the successful prosecution of the Monthax campaign. However, Warmaster Macaroth diverted part of the group, including the 5th and 7th Roane Deepers, to the planet Verghast to help the settlement of Vervunhive defend itself from an attack by the fallen hive Ferrozoica. These regiments were under the command of the Roane General Nash, in a subordinate role to General Noches Sturm of the Royal Volpone.[1]
