Orar Subsector

The Orar Subsector is an Imperial sub-sector located in the Gothic Sector of Segmentum Obscurus. Worlds within the sub-sector have been scoured by Dark Angels forces hunting down The Fallen, and in later years saw fighting during the Gothic War.
Overview
The Orar sub-sector is located within the Gothic Sector, an Imperial sector of Segmentum Obscurus.[1]
In M31, signs of rebellion were seen in the sub-sector as the planet Lemnos erupted into civil war, ostensibly over the paying of tithes. In truth, the conflict was stoked by members of The Fallen, including Cypher; after the intervention of the Dark Angels and other chapters of the Unforgiven, the rebellion was put down.[2] The Dark Angels returned the sub-sector in 987.M37, when the entire Ravenwing deployed to the world of Picus in search for Solas, another of the Fallen. However, their quarry evaded them, seemingly with the aid of Cypher.[3]
Early in M41, the sub-sector saw naval fighting during the 12th Black Crusade of Ezekyle Abaddon, otherwise known as the Gothic War. The principal world of the sub-sector, Orar, was the location of an early Imperial victory over Abaddon's forces, with the battle cruiser Imperious leading a rout of the Chaos fleet and pursuing them out of the system.[1c]
