Kathalon is a Daemon World that is eternally at war, as it is a battleground between the armies of Khorne, under the Bloodthirster Vangash'hagash the Ever-Bloody, and the Daemonic legions of Tzeentch. The battle is seemingly destined to last for eternity.[1]
The surface reshapes itself as the balance of power changes, crystal spires erupting from the ground when Tzeentch gains the upper hand, and seas filling with chattering skulls when Khorne is dominant.[2]
