Interceptor City is a novel by Dan Abnett. It is a sequel to the 2004 novel Double Eagle. A special limited edition was published by Black Library in November 2024, with a full release in February 2025.[4][5]

Cover description

The Imperium is locked into a gruelling war of attrition for the fate of Vesperus during the Sabbat Worlds Crusade — a dead hive on the planet Lysander nicknamed 'Interceptor City'. Former ace fighter pilot Bree Jagdea is forced to give up her relatively safe life of supply runs, and is enlisted in the infamous Circus 66 squadron, whose contributions to the war effort are far more dangerous. In Vesperus' lethal rat runs, the smallest error means certain death – the only question is whether Bree can make it through this hellish gauntlet alive.[1]

Special edition

A limited run "Mega edition" was released in November 2024, several months before the wider release in February 2025. Packaged in a box modeled on a flight recorder case, it included a numbered and signed hardback copy of the book with a special cover, a 64 page "Pilot's Notes for Avenger Strike Fighter" booklet with illustrations, a map of Lysander during the Sabbat Worlds Crusade, a metal Aeronautica Imperialis pin badge, and a fabric Circus 66 patch.[1][2]
