The Armageddon 101st Steel Legion was a regiment of the Armageddon Steel Legion.[1b]
Notable Actions
The 101st Steel Legion took part in the Third War for Armageddon.[1b] They were initially assigned to the defence of Hades Hive, but were reassigned to Hive Helsreach following Commissar Yarrick's recommendation to abandon Hades in favour of reinforcing the other Hives on Armageddon. Furthermore, the 101st's commanding officer, Colonel Sarren, was placed in charge of the Astra Militarum forces defending Helsreach after Colonel Insan of the 121st Steel Legion suddenly died of heart failure.[1a]
