On the benighted world of Gehöft, the White Scars battle the forces of Chaos, both mortal and daemonic. As plague spreads and darkness reigns, Kor'sarro Khan takes to the field, eager to take the head of the traitor responsible for the world’s corruption. But when his Dark Angels allies abandon the fight, the Khan and his bikers are forced into a deadly confrontation with the servants of Nurgle that threatens to damn them.

Plot summary

White Scars lead Dark Angels and the Brindelweld Seventeenth Imperial Guard regiment in the defense of Agri World Gehöft against the Blighted Claw chaos warband led by Plague Lord Paramyx. By the time of the final assault, Gehöft is too far gone to be saved, but it can be avenged with the death of Paramyx. Just before the final blow, the Dark Angels mysteriously abandon the White Scars, who suffer half a dozen dead, killing the momentum and hope of taking down Paramyx. After seeing defeat is imminent, the Imperial Guard fully retreats from Gehöft, which undergoes Exterminatus, but not before Blighted Claw and Paramyx evacuate.
