Thunderbolt Class Heavy Frigate
The Thunderbolt Class Heavy Frigate was a class of Escort. It used by the Imperial Army's Imperialis Armada and Legiones Astartes[1b] during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.[1a]
These vessels were built for speed and intended to deliver a large payload of Torpedoes to the enemy and outrun any guns which might answer. They also proved adept at hunting down fleeing foes.[1b]
