Antagonis is a world of the Imperium. It lies in the southern area of the galaxy near the Veiled Region.[2]
History
Human habitation on Antagonis dates back to at least the era of the Great Crusade.[1a]
In M32, Inquisitor Wienand gained fame fighting an unknown enemy on Antagonis in cooperation with Eldar.[4]
Sometime in M41, the renewed Plague of Unbelief disrupted Antagonis. Eventually, Plague Zombies and other Nurgle-affiliated forces appeared on the world. At the request of Inquisitor Werner Lettinger the Black Dragons, the Mortisian Regiment, and Setheno the Canoness-Errant were called in to contain the situation.[1a][1b] However, they were eventually forced to evacuate and enact Exterminatus.[1]
Despite the exterminatus, by the time of the formation of the Great Rift, Antagonis was still being contested. The Legion of the Damned appeared to aid the Imperials on the world.[3]
Geography
Antagonis possesses two major landmasses separated by oceans. The planet features a number of areas largely untouched by human civilisation, including areas of forest and tundra.[1c]
Settlements
There are a number of settlements on Antagonis, but no hives.[1c]
Government
By the time of the Wars of Lamentation that lead to the planet's downfall, the high lord of Antagonis was Benedict Danton.[1a]
