Arks of Omen is an in-universe event for the 9th Edition of Warhammer 40,000.[1]
Games Workshop Description
With the ruthless advance of Haarken Worldclaimer’s armada through the Nachmund Gauntlet – one of the very few safe passages through the Cicatrix Maledictum – the forces of Chaos are nearing their goal. Only a few faltering obstacles stand between Abaddon the Despoiler and supremacy over the entire Imperium Nihilus.
With his forces spread across warzones at Vigilus, Dharrovar, and beyond, Abaddon needs one good knockout punch to destroy the loyalists once and for all. The arrival of a mysterious ally provides the break he needs, and work begins on his new Balefleets – swarms of heretic warships, reinforced by the mighty Ark of Omen.
