Aetian Keltos is a Primaris Lieutenant in the Silver Templars's 4th Company, whose battles with the forces of Chaos have already entered the Chapter's legends.[1]
Biography
He was among the Martian Primaris Space Marines that were awoken at the start of the Indomitus Crusade and inducted into the newly created Silver Templars. As the Crusade began to reclaim the Imperium's lost worlds, the Silver Templars joined Indomitus Crusade Fleet Primus and Keltos served as an Intercessor Space Marine Sergeant in Captain Markos Lukion's 4th Company. Under his leadership, Squad Keltos soon earned a reputation as one of the 4th's most reliable squadrons and were renowned for killing enemy leaders and champions. Keltos slew several powerful foes in single combat during these battles and with each fight, he honed his skills as both a leader and a duellist.[1]
Several years later, as the Indomitus Crusade waged on, the 4th Company's losses began to mount and among them was Lieutenant Gianos Raksis. The Lieutenant was slain in fierce combat with the Black Legion on Gentu III and afterwards Captain Lukion immediately promoted Keltos to the rank of Lieutenant and he then led his Demi-Company to victory and drove the traitors from Gentu III. Eventually, the Silver Templars earned the right to claim Novaris as their Homeworld and the bulk of the Chapter departed Fleet Primus for their new home.[1]
The 4th Company was among the Silver Templars who accompanied the Ultramarines as they defended Ultramar, during the Plague Wars. There, the Company fought many battles against the Death Guard and the losses they suffered were replaced by the first wave of Silver Templars born on Novaris. These new Primaris Space Marines excelled under Keltos' command and he went on to lead his reinforced Demi-Company to several victories over the Death Guard.[1]
After years of further fighting, the Death Guard withdrew to the Scourge Stars and created a lull in the fighting within Ultramar. This allowed Keltos to visit his Homeworld for the first time and he would immerse himself in its population's culture. This earned him praise from his Demi-Company and eased the remaining tensions between the Martian and Novarian Silver Templars. This was noticed by Chapter Master Akilios Zanaris, who was impressed by Keltos' leadership skills and believed the Lieutenant had the makings of a future Captain.[1]
Sometime later, Keltos' Demi-Company would begin waging war once again and took part in the battle for the Forest World Ultach. There they clashed with not only the Black Legion, but also the Death Guard forces of the Daemon Prince Mytoxis. As the war on Ultach raged, Keltos led a strike team to hunt down the Daemon Prince and he intended to personally put an end to Mytoxis' schemes on the world.[1]
Wargear
Keltos is armed with the Master Crafted Power Sword Mercy and the Heavy Bolt Pistol Absolution. As with keeping with the Silver Templars traditions, each weapon was crafted by Keltos' hands.[1]
