Apparition
Apparitions are ghosts of deceased beings, who return to fight beside their species while wielding spectral weaponry.[1]
History
This has been noted to have occurred to both the Imperium and the Asuryani, whose Apparitions are drawn from the Infinity Circuits of Craftworlds. The Imperium's Apparitions vary greatly, as its citizens worship an array of Imperial Saints and martyrs, with many claiming to have seen these ghosts aiding in battles against the Imperium's enemies. Space Marines have found themselves aided by the ghosts of former Chapter Masters, while the Witch Hunters of the Ordo Hereticus have been aided by one of the founding Saints of the Adepta Sororitas. Grey Knights Grand Masters have aided the Ordo Malleus' Daemonhunters, while the Astra Militarum's Apparitions have been martyrs, Imperial Saints or the founders of their Regiments.[1]
