Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command is a turn based battle simulation game by THQ and Games Workshop. The single-player campaign follows the Imperium's Ultramarines over the course of 15 missions as they fend off an incursion by the Word Bearers Legion of Chaos on the planet Ruhr III.[1]

Gameplay

The game is played in turns with the player acting first. A certain ammount of action points are assigned to each unit and they are used for movement and attacking. All the scenery except the floor can be destroyed. However this can damage your units. It can be bought for the PSP or nintendo DS.[1]

Units

The player uses ultramarines throughout the game. Units include ultramarine scouts, marines, terminators, landspeeders, land raiders, dreadnoughts and predators.[1]

The chaos forces include cultists, chaos marines, obliterators, summoned bloodletters, land raiders, dreadnoughts, defilers, and predators. Although there are always more enemy units than the players squad they are weaker so that they can be defeated.[1]

Weapons

Weapons and new units are aquired by winning missions. Weapons include lasguns, bolters, heavy bolters, storm bolters, heavy lasguns, chainswords, plasma cannons, missile launchers, flamers, heavy flamers, assult cannons, twin linked bolters, sniper rifles, powerfists, combat shotguns and twinlinked lascannons.[1]
