Mining Barge
Mining Barges are Adeptus Mechanicus spaceships, that are used to mine asteroids the Mechanicus determines have enough resources to justify doing so.[1]

Description
They are equipped with a contingent of servitors, as well as lowly Tech-Adepts that guide the cyborgs in their work. Under their command, the Servitors create networks of tunnels that connect to the various ore deposits that the asteroid contains. Once this is done, the cyborgs will harvest the deposits and transfer the resources to the Mining Barge. The Barge also contains a maintenance bay for the Adepts to repair and upkeep the Servitors, which return there on the schedules they are programmed to follow.[1]
Trivia
The Mining Barge was created by the Games Workshop employee Bryan Barnes and it was featured on an older version of the company's website.[1]
