Known for their lightning-fast attack patterns.[4] Fought in the Lotharn Campaign[21] and against the Cassell Rebellion - the unit became famous after putting down the Rebellion in less than six hours.[1] |
31st | The Fall of Medusa V - Commanded by Colonel Anaan. The unit were awarded as Heroes of the Imperium during the campaign.[2] |
34th | Third War for Armageddon - One of the regiments that served in the defence of Hive Helsreach.[8i] |
41st | Third War for Armageddon - The 11th Company took part in the search for the missing Colonel von Hardtkaur in the Fire Wastes.[26] |

50th | Second War for Armageddon - They fought at the Infernus-Acheon Highway in support of the 9th Steel Legion. They were commanded by Colonel Koldin.[21] |
51st | Third War for Armageddon - One of the regiments that served in the defence of Hive Helsreach.[8i] |

68th | Third War for Armageddon - One of the regiments that served in the defence of Hive Helsreach.[8f] |
69th | A regiment of the Steel Legion, known to be Armageddon Ork Hunters.[19] |
81st | Second War for Armageddon - "Mobile Assault Regiment". They were involved in the suicidal orbital landing to reclaim Hive Infernus. The survivors were subordinated to the 9th Steel Legion.[1] |
87th | One (or more) of the wars for Armageddon - Hydra Flak Tanks of this Regiment were assigned to protect its 1st Company. They fought in the defence of Hive Acheron.[5b] |
91st | Third War for Armageddon - One of the regiments that served in the defence of Hive Helsreach.[8c] |
93rd | Third War for Armageddon - Fought in the defence of Hive Infernus[7] and fighting at the Mannheim Gap.[6] |
101st | Third War for Armageddon - One of the regiments that served in the defence of Hive Helsreach. They unit was commanded by Colonel Sarren, who would take overall command of the defence of Hive Helsreach.[8a][8f] |
116th | Third War for Armageddon - One of the many regiments that served in the defence of Armageddon.[2c] |
121st | Third War for Armageddon - One of the regiments that served in the defence of Hive Helsreach.[8f] |
141st | Third War for Armageddon - The 141st fought in the defence of Palonious where they suffered heavy casualties. They were eventually reinforced by the Salamanders chapter of the Adeptus Astartes. During the battle around the Eumenides Bridge the regiment was all but destroyed by a large body of Orks from the Blackskulls tribe as they migrated out of the Diablo mountain range. With the assistance of the Salamanders the bridge was saved and the Orks pushed back to the mountains. The remnants of the regiment were used to reinforce the 252nd Regiment.[10] |
238th | This Regiment cotained the famous Chimera which would later be attached to Inquisitor Umbra Nox and, after his death, to Witch Hunter Skour. The Chimera would then pass in this way through countless generation of Inquisitors.[12] |
252nd | Aionos - Fought alongside a young Commissar Yarrick on the moon of Aionos.[24]
Abydos - Fought against the Tau under Commissar Yarrick.[25] |

Third War for Armageddon - One of the regiments that served in the defence of Hive Helsreach.[8b] |

Third War for Armageddon - The 276th fought in the ash wastes where, in 963.M41, the Third company discovered the remains of a shattered Ork Gargant from the Second War for Armageddon and secured it with the help of Fourth company in the face of heavy Ork counterattacks.[11] |

121st Steel Legion Armoured Division | Third War for Armageddon - One of the armoured regiments that served in the defence of Hive Helsreach.[8g] |
199th Steel Legion Armoured Division | Third War for Armageddon - One of the armoured regiments that served in the defence of Hive Helsreach.[8d] |
233rd Steel Legion Armoured Division | Third War for Armageddon - One of the armoured regiments that served in the defence of Hive Helsreach.[8h] |
8th Heavy Tank Company | Third War for Armageddon - This Super Heavy Tank Company was originally equipped with Stormsword super heavy tanks, one of which was the ninth of the company.[5a] They were heavily engaged in fighting around Hive Infernus before being destroyed.[5c][17] |
