Noble House
Noble Houses are Imperial families that have been officially recognized as Nobles, by their world's ruling Imperial House, by being given a writ of nobility.[1a] This also includes the Nobles of Knight Houses.[7]

Known Noble Houses
Alecto
- Dymaxion[6a] — Manufacturers of Groundcars, cargo units and other earthbound transportation.[6b]

Malfi
- House Belasco — A powerful house on Malfi, producer of small arms for the local Planetary Defense Force and possessing a frighteningly large assassin cadre. Owns the infamous Belasco Deathworks manufactora, known for its potent sniper rifles, toxin weapons, implant weaponry, and other murderous devices which find no shortage of buyers on Malfi's notorious culture of political vendetta.[14]
Moebian Domain
The most powerful and influential noble houses in the Moebian Domain are Houses Margrave, Barquette, Consora, and Van Sparzi.[13]
Atoma Prime
- Margrave — Current ruling house of Atoma Prime and the Moebian Domain. The Lord Margrave currently holds the office of Lord Moebian, the ruling seat of power for the entirety of the Moebian Domain. The ruler, Lord Margrave, is known as a tyrant who won't hesitate to crush any in his way and is devoid of empathy.[13]
- Barquette — The second most powerful House on Atoma Prime. Former holders of the office of Lord Moebian in M36, during Hive Tertium's founding. A house who is known for cloak-and-dagger behavior.[13]
- Consora — A house with a history of fighting for the good of the Moebian Domain. The hero, Riga Consora was known for denouncing the corrupt rulers of Tertium and the domain.[13]
Branx Magna
- Van Sparzi - The ruling noble house of Branx Magna, a world with growing industrial output that has begun to rival that of Atoma Prime.[13]
Necromunda
On Necromunda, the ruling House Helm'ayr originally ratified the creation of Hive Primus' first Noble Houses in M35 and many of the world's Hives then followed their example[1a]. Since their creation, many new Houses have been created, while others have met their end, by losing their status [1b], or being destroyed [1c]. While they may fight each other, all of Necromunda's Noble and Clan Houses have signed the Oath Nobilies, vowing to never break the world's Pax Imperium with open warfare.[1d]
Hive Primus
- Aranthus — Destroyed by a plague in 364.M40. It is rumoured that Lady Annyr Helmawr was responsible for the House's downfall.[1d]
- Catallus[2]
- Craft[12]
- Eschaki — Lost its status as a Noble House in the Second Great Clan Wars in M37. It then fought to become a Clan House[1b] and eventually transformed into House Escher.[4]
- Gorshed — One of the first Noble Houses created in M35[1a]. Later lost its status in the Second Great Clan Wars in M37. It then fought to become a Clan House, but Gorshed's current status is unknown.[1b]

- Mung — One of the first Noble Houses created in M35.[1a] Later met its end in 777.M36[1c]

Paragon VI
Paragon VI (in particular, the planet's sixth moon) has a number of Clan Families (around 150[9b] in total).[9a] The families are typically exempt from drafts for the Astra Militarum; however, this can be circumvented voluntarily[9c] or involuntarily.[9d]

Ferrozoica Hive
- Clatch — Formerly the ruling Imperial House of Ferrozoica, when the Hive fell to Heresy during the Sabbat Worlds Crusade.[3a]
Vervunhive
At the time of the Sabbat Worlds Crusade, Vervunhive possessed nine noble houses, in addition to its Imperial House[3c]:
- Sondar — Once ruled the Hive, until the treachery of High Master Salvador Sondar during the Siege of Vervunhive.[3e]
- Anko — Became an Imperial House of a new Hive, in the aftermath of the Siege of Vervunhive.[3f]
- Chass — Became an Imperial House of a new Hive, in the aftermath of the Siege of Vervunhive.[3f]
