Painboyz (also known as 'Mad Doks' or 'Doks') are a class of Ork Oddboy that act as the doctors of Greenskin society.[Needs Citation]

Description and Variants

Painboyz are responsible for fixing injuries that the Ork physiology can't deal with, such as totally severed limbs and brain damage. Painboyz use "Stabby Bits" as their medical tools. An Ork will only go to a Painboy when he has no other choice, as these Oddboyz are infamous for trying out experimental procedures (such as the greatly feared squig brain transplant) on patients while they are under anesthesia (known as "concussion" to other races). Painboyz are responsible for attaching bioniks, although sometimes they aren't paying attention and replace the wrong part of the patient's body. High-ranking Painboyz are called Painbosses and are known to be accompanied by Cybork bodyguards. Orks are surprisingly resilient and have had arms, legs and even heads swapped around and the Ork in question has survived to tell the tale! There exist a subclass of Painboyz known as "Bad Doks". These Painboyz pale all others in their eccentricity and are outcasts of their own tribes due to the unnecessary surgery they inflict upon their prey. Patients who fall victim to a Bad Dok can find themselves with mechanical lungs, extra limbs, or head transplanted onto a new body. For a Bad Dok there is no need for payment, the surgery itself is a reward.[Needs Citation]
Painboss
High-ranking Painboyz are called Painbosses and are known to be accompanied by Cybork bodyguards.[1] They specialize in both surgical care and cyber-augmentation of both Ork and Squig. So as to provide their services "on the hoof", Painbosses augment themselves with piston-driven soopa-legz, monowheels, and other bizarre forms of Bionik augmentation.
Beast Snagga Dok
Beast Snagga Doks are a type of Ork Dok that belong to the Beast Snagga subsect. Due to frequent Squig related injuries, Beast Snagga Orks often visit their Doks for treatment. As a result of this, necessity has led Beast Snagga Doks to be among the most creative of their kind, when treating injuries.[6]
