Sentry Pylons^[2]

Sentry Pylons are automated defensive weapons platforms used by the Necrons.^[1]

A smaller version of the Necron Pylon, these strange devices are used tactically either in the fields of war or to defend slumbering Tomb Worlds from outside intruders. Sentry Pylons can carry a variety of weapons such as Death Rays and Heat Cannons,^[2] but many are equipped with the Gauss Exterminator to engage enemy aircraft at extremely long range. The Sentry Pylon can also be used against ground targets with no loss of effectiveness.^[1]
