Dreadclaws are Drop Pod-like transports used by the Space Marine Legions of old, and still used by the Chaos Space Marines.[3]

Overview
Dreadclaws are used to quickly deploy Traitor Marines onto a planet from orbit.[3][4b] The Dreadclaws themselves are deployed from cruisers or battleships.
